Guru Ngima Sherpa
Guru Ngima Sherpa is managing director of friendship alternative Nepal owned by Sherpa company. He has worked in trekking, mountain biking, canyoning, rock climbing, mountaineering and in expedition sectors both as a trekking guide and porter. He first entered in this trekking sector as a porter at the age of 18. So he has been traveling in this trekking journey for almost one and half decades now. He worked with different trekking agencies as a guide for 9 years. So far none of the guest he served has been disappointed. Every guest who has Trekked with him has been really impressed by his honesty, good work, friendly behavior and his caring as a guardian. He is professional in guiding and he ensures every adventure trips runs with high standard and safety first
Pema Doma Sherpa is an owner and marketing director of friendship alternative Nepal. She worked as a receptionist in trekking office few years back. She worked as a translator in NGO called Kaule ev Nepal for 4 years. She also worked in boutique hotel in Kathmandu called 3 rooms by the paulines for one and half years as a manager. Thus she collected knowledge in various field and worked with foreigners from many countries. She has been to many places in Nepal like Everest, Annapurna, Langtang and many more and also outside the country like German and India. She was born in Solukhumbu but grown up in Kathmandu as her parents migrated to Kathmandu when she was 2 years old. Hence she did her schooling in Kathmandu school named Blue bird high school and did her higher studies in Lincoln college. She also runs home stay at her parents place which is 23km away from Kathmandu. Her parents used to host Japanese volunteers as they use to have strawberries and kiwi farm. So she learned hospitality from her parents from the very young age. Hence she is interested to work with people from different countries. So she started friendship alternative Nepal..
