Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will meet your tour operator or guide who will brief you about the trip and make any necessary arrangements.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Besishahar After breakfast, we will drive to Besishahar, which is the starting point of the Annapurna Circuit. The drive takes about 6 hours, passing through scenic countryside and offering views of the Himalayas.

Day 3: Besishahar to Bahundanda (1310m) Our biking adventure begins today as we start cycling towards Bahundanda, a small village at an altitude of 1310m. We will pass through terraced fields, small villages and cross several streams and suspension bridges along the way.

Day 4: Bahundanda to Chame (2630m) The trail gradually ascends towards Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. We will ride through pine forests, waterfalls, and apple orchards, and pass through the beautiful village of Tal on the way.

Day 5: Chame to Pisang (3300m) Today, we will ride through the narrow and steep valley to reach the village of Pisang. En route, we will visit the village of Bratang, and ride through dense forests and rocky trails.

Day 6: Pisang to Manang (3540m) The trail from Pisang to Manang is a gradual climb through forests and pastures with scenic views of the Annapurna and Pisang peaks. We will also visit the Barge monastery, one of the oldest monasteries in the region.

Day 7: Rest day in Manang Today is a rest day in Manang to acclimatize to the higher altitude. You can spend the day exploring the village and its surrounding areas, or take a short hike to Gangapurna Lake or visit the Himalayan Rescue Association.

Day 8: Manang to Yak Kharka (4050m) The trail from Manang to Yak Kharka is a steady climb through alpine vegetation and offers stunning views of the mountains. We will also cross the Throng La Pass, the highest pass on the Annapurna Circuit.

Day 9: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4450m) Today, we will ride to Thorong Phedi, a small village at the base of the Thorong La Pass. The ride is a challenging uphill climb, but offers magnificent views of the surrounding peaks.

Day 10: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath (3800m) Today is the most challenging day of the trip as we will ride to the summit of the Thorong La Pass (5416m) and then descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 11: Muktinath to Jomsom (2700m) We will ride downhill to the village of Jomsom, which is the main center of the Mustang district. In route, we will visit the famous Kagbeni village and the red-walled monastery at Jharkot.

Day 12: Jomsom to Tatopani (1190m) Today, we will ride down through the Kali Gandaki Valley to Tatopani, a small village known for its natural hot springs. You can take a dip in the hot springs to relax your muscles after the challenging ride.

Day 13: Tatopani to Pokhara We will drive back to Pokhara from Tatopani, which takes around 7 hours. Once in Pokhara, you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range, or explore the city’s famous lakes and markets.

Day 14: Pokhara to Kathmandu Today, we will drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara, which takes around 6 hours. Once back in Kathmandu, you can spend the evening exploring the city’s vibrant markets and sampling local cuisine.

Day 15: Departure Your Annapurna Circuit biking adventure comes to an end today. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.

Excludes:

  1. Motorized vehicles, including motorbikes or cars, are not permitted on the Annapurna Circuit trekking trail.
  2. Drones and other flying devices are prohibited in the Annapurna Conservation Area.
  3. Alcohol and drugs, as they can impair your judgment and reaction time while cycling.
  4. Single-use plastics, as they contribute to the waste problem in the mountains.
  5. Firearms and other weapons.
  6. Large amounts of unnecessary gear, as it will add extra weight to your bike and slow you down.
  7. Loud music or other noise pollution, which can disturb wildlife and other trekkers on the trail.
