From pikey peak you can see most of the central and eastern himalayan peaks Sagarmatha (Mt Everest), Makalu, Mansalu, Dhaulagiri, Gauri shankar, Lhotse, Numbur, Khatang, Karyalung, Shishapangma, Mera peak, tamserku, Lhotseshar, Nuptse and little of Ama Dablam.  Pike Hill is popular for sunrise and sunset views.

Best Season:

Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu On the first day, you arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Depending on the time of your arrival, you may have some time to explore the city.

Day 2: Fix the bike half day biking This day is dedicated to fixing your bike and getting it ready for the journey ahead. You’ll also have the opportunity to go on a half-day biking trip to get used to your bike and the terrain.

Day 3: Drive to Dhap On day 3, you’ll drive to Dhap, a small village in the Solu region of Nepal. The drive will take approximately 8-9 hours, and you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Day 4: Dhap to Japre biking This day is the start of your biking adventure. You’ll cycle from Dhap to Japre, a small village located at an altitude of 2,670 meters. This will be a challenging day of biking as you’ll be gaining altitude.

Day 5:  Japre to Pikey Base Camp biking 90% On day 5, you’ll continue your biking journey from Japre to Pikey Base Camp. This will be a mostly uphill ride, and you’ll be cycling at an altitude of around 3,640 meters. Once you reach Pikey Base Camp, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Himalayas.

Day 6 : Sunrise at Pikey Peak, biking to Vittakharka On this day, you’ll wake up early to witness the sunrise from Pikey Peak. After taking in the breathtaking views, you’ll continue your biking journey to Vittakharka, a small village located at an altitude of 3,100 meters.

Day 7 : Vittakharka to Junbesi On day 7, you’ll cycle from Vittakharka to Junbesi, a scenic village located at an altitude of 2,680 meters. Along the way, you’ll be able to enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas.

Day 8:  rest day Visit Thubtenchoeling Monastery This day is a rest day, and you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Thubtenchoeling Monastery, a beautiful Buddhist monastery located in Junbesi.

Day 9 : Junbesi to Taksindu biking On day 9, you’ll cycle from Junbesi to Taksindu, a small village located at an altitude of 2,900 meters. This will be a challenging day of biking as you’ll be climbing uphill for most of the day.

Day 10:  from Taksindu to Phaplu, On this day, you’ll cycle from Taksindu to Phaplu, a small town located at an altitude of 2,469 meters. This will be a mostly downhill ride, and you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning scenery along the way.

Day 11:  Phaplu to setomane biking On day 11, you’ll cycle from Phaplu to Setomane, a small village located at an altitude of 2,520 meters. This will be a challenging day of biking as you’ll be climbing uphill for most of the day.

Day 12 : Biking form setoman to Okhaldunga Drive to Kathmandu This day is the last day of your biking adventure. You’ll cycle from Setomane to Okhaldunga and then drive back to Kathmandu. This will be a mostly downhill ride, and you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning

Day 13: Sightseeing Kathmandu On day 13, you’ll have a full day to explore the city of Kathmandu. You can visit the many temples, markets, and historical sites that the city has to offer, such as the Pashupatinath Temple and the Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 14: Rest day bike Peking This day is a rest day, but you’ll have the opportunity to go on a leisurely bike ride around the outskirts of the city and explore the nearby countryside.

Day 15: Back to home On the final day of your itinerary, you’ll say goodbye to Nepal and head back home, carrying with you memories of your amazing biking adventure in the Himalayas.
