Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be received by a representative from your trekking agency who will transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city on your own or just relaxing and preparing for the trek.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Kathmandu You will start the day with a delicious breakfast and then proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley. You will visit some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Day 3: Drive Kathmandu to Besi Sahar Today, you will start your journey towards the Annapurna region by driving from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar. The drive takes about 6-7 hours and takes you through scenic landscapes, lush green forests, and several small villages.

Day 4: Chyamche to Dharapani On this day, you will start your trek from Chyamche and walk towards Dharapani. The trail takes you through the Marshyangdi river valley and offers beautiful views of the Himalayan mountains.

Day 5: Dharapani to Chame Today, you will trek from Dharapani to Chame, the headquarters of the Manang district. Along the way, you will pass through dense forests, rivers, and waterfalls, and get to see panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains.

Day 6: Chame to Pisang On this day, you will trek from Chame to Pisang. The trail takes you through beautiful pine forests, traditional Gurung villages and offers spectacular views of the Himalayas.

Day 7: Pisang to Ngawal village After breakfast, you will start trekking towards Ngawal village. The trail passes through scenic landscapes and beautiful traditional villages, where you can observe the daily lifestyle of the locals.

Day 8: Acclimatization day at Ngawal village To avoid altitude sickness and get acclimatized to the high altitude, you will spend a day at Ngawal village. You can explore the village, interact with the locals, and enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas.

Day 9: Ngawal to Chulu East Base Camp Today, you will start trekking towards Chulu East Base Camp. The trail takes you through rugged terrains, rocky landscapes, and you will get to see the beautiful scenery of the Annapurna region.

Day 10: Trek to Chulu East High Camp After breakfast, you will trek towards Chulu East High Camp. The trail is steep and challenging but offers incredible views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains.

Day 11: Return to Base Camp Today, you will return to Chulu East Base Camp. The descent is relatively easy, and you can enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna range.

Day 12: Trek to Manang On this day, you will trek from the base camp to Manang village. The trail passes through the beautiful Himalayan landscapes and you can enjoy stunning views of the Annapurna range.

Day 13: Manang to Letdar You will leave Manang and follow the trail to Letdar. Along the way, you will pass through picturesque villages, green forests, and lush meadows.

Day 14: Trek to High Camp This day, you will trek to the high camp which is located near the summit of Chulu East. The trail is steep and challenging, but you will be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 15: Trek to Muktinath This day, you will leave the high camp and trek to Muktinath, a sacred place for both Hindus and Buddhists. The trail passes through arid landscapes and offers stunning views of the mountains.

Day 16: Muktinath to Jomsom You will trek to Jomsom, a small town located in the Kali Gandaki Valley. Jomsom is famous for its apple orchards and traditional Thakali architecture.

Day 17: Fly to Pokhara On this day, you will take a scenic flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful city located in the foothills of the Himalayas and is known for its tranquil lakes and stunning views of the mountains.

Day 18: Pokhara to Kathmandu You will drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Along the way, you can enjoy the scenic landscapes and observe the rural way of life of the Nepali people.

Day 19: Final Departure This marks the end of your Chulu East trek. You will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
