The climbing to Tilicho Peak starts with a drive to Khudi followed by a trek to Tilicho Base Camp. The trekking trails follow Annapurna Circuit to Manang. Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu – You will arrive at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu where you will be greeted by a representative from your trekking company. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation in Kathmandu – You will spend the day sightseeing and preparing for the trek. You will visit some of the popular tourist attractions in Kathmandu such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and the Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the evening, you will have a briefing session with your trekking guide who will provide you with all the necessary information about the trek.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Besi Sahar – You will leave Kathmandu early in the morning and drive to Besi Sahar, which is the starting point of the trek. The drive takes about 6-7 hours and you will pass through scenic countryside and picturesque villages along the way.

Day 4: Trek from Nga Di to Syange – On this day, you will start your trek from Nga Di and trek to Syange. The trek takes about 6-7 hours and you will pass through dense forests, waterfalls, and small villages.

Day 5: Trek from Syange to Tal – On this day, you will trek from Syange to Tal, which takes about 6-7 hours. The trail passes through beautiful landscapes and you will cross a suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River.

Day 6: Trek from Tal to Timang – You will trek from Tal to Timang on this day. The trek takes about 5-6 hours and you will pass through forests and scenic villages. You will also get your first views of the Himalayan mountain range.

Day  7: Trek from Timang to Lower Pisang – On this day, you will trek from Timang to Lower Pisang. The trek takes about 5-6 hours and you will pass through beautiful forests, small villages, and terraced farmlands.

Day 8: Trek from Pisang to Manang – On this day, you will trek from Pisang to Manang. The trek takes about 6-7 hours and you will pass through beautiful landscapes, scenic villages, and terraced farmlands.

Day 9: Acclimatization Day – You will spend this day in Manang for acclimatization purposes. You can explore the town, visit the local monastery, or hike up to Gangapurna Lake for some beautiful views.

Day 10: Trek from Manang to Kangsar – You will trek from Manang to Kangsar on this day. The trek takes about 3-4 hours and you will pass through beautiful landscapes and small villages.

Day 11: Trek from Kangsar to Tilicho Base Camp – On this day, you will trek from Kangsar to Tilicho Base Camp. The trek takes about 5-6 hours and you will pass through beautiful landscapes and stunning views of the Tilicho Peak.

Day 12: Trek from Tilicho Base Camp to Mesokanta – On this day, you will trek from Tilicho Base Camp to Mesokanta. The trek takes about 6-7 hours and you will pass through beautiful landscapes, small villages, and terraced farmlands.

Day 13-25: Climbing Days – These days will be dedicated to climbing the Tilicho Peak. You will follow a specific itinerary based on your trekking company’s guidelines and schedule.

Day 26: Trek from Base Camp to Kangsar – You will trek back from the Base Camp to Kangsar on this day.

Day 27: Trek from Kangsar to Pisang

You will retrace your steps and trek from Kangsar to Pisang, which will take around 4-5 hours. You will descend back to the Lower Pisang, passing through beautiful forests and small villages. Upon reaching Pisang, you can rest and explore the area.

Day 28: Trek from Pisang to Bagarchhap

Today’s trek will take you from Pisang to Bagarchhap, which will take around 5-6 hours. You will descend through forests of pine and rhododendron, passing through small villages and farmlands. Bagarchhap is a small and scenic village where you can rest and enjoy the views.

Day 29: Trek from Bagarchhap to Syange

You will trek from Bagarchhap to Syange, which will take around 5-6 hours. You will descend to the Marshyangdi River and cross it to reach the village of Syange. This is the final day of your trek, and you can celebrate with your guide and fellow trekkers.

Day 30: Drive from Syange to Besi Sahar

You will drive back to Besi Sahar, which will take around 3-4 hours. From there, you can take a local bus or jeep to reach Kathmandu. You can spend the rest of the day resting and exploring the city.

Day 31: Drive from Besi Sahar to Kathmandu

You will drive back to Kathmandu, which will take around 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can rest, explore the city, and do some souvenir shopping.

Day 32: Final Departure

You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.

Before You Go
