Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

Upon arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. You can rest and relax for the day, or explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, the tourist hub of Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

After breakfast, you will go for a full-day sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu valley. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will also get a chance to learn about the rich history and culture of Nepal.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara drive – 7 hours

After breakfast, you will drive to Pokhara, a scenic city located 200 km west of Kathmandu. The drive will take around 7 hours, and you will pass through small towns and villages, as well as enjoy views of the Trishuli river and the Himalayan range.

Day 04: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1500m) – 3 to 4 hours walk

After breakfast, you will drive to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. From there, you will trek to Tikhedhunga, a small village located at an altitude of 1500 meters. The trail passes through lush green forests, streams, and small villages.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2826m) – 6 Hours walk

Today, you will trek to Ghorepani, a beautiful village located at an altitude of 2826 meters. The trail is steep and passes through forests of rhododendron, the national flower of Nepal. You will also get stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Day 06: Hike to Poon Hill (3210m) and Trek to Tadapani (2721m) – 6 hours

Early in the morning, you will hike to Poon Hill, the best viewpoint to witness the sunrise over the Himalayas. You will get breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, as well as other peaks such as Nilgiri, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre. After the hike, you will trek to Tadapani, a small village located at an altitude of 2721 meters.

Day 07: Trek to Ghandruk Village – 3 hours walk

Day 09: Drive to Kathmandu – 7 Hours

After breakfast, you will drive back to Kathmandu. The drive will take around 7 hours, and you will pass through beautiful landscapes and small towns.

Day 10: Depart Kathmandu

Your Tamang Heritage Trek ends today. You will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination.
