Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft) You will arrive in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Our representative will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You can spend the rest of the day exploring the city and resting to acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 2: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation This day is dedicated to exploring the city of Kathmandu. You will visit UNESCO World Heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath. These sites represent the cultural and religious diversity of Nepal. You will also meet your trek guide and other members of the team for a briefing about the trek.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 8-9 hours You will drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, the starting point of your trek. The drive takes around 8-9 hours and offers stunning views of the Himalayas, rivers, and landscapes of Nepal.

Day 4: Trek begins: Syabrubesi to Gatlang (2,200m/7,217ft.): 5 hours Your trek begins from Syabrubesi. You will walk through forests and climb uphill to reach Gatlang, a beautiful village with traditional houses and a rich cultural heritage.

Day 5: Gatlang to Tatopani (2607m/8550 ft): 6-7 hours You will walk through forests and cross a suspension bridge to reach Tatopani. Tatopani means “hot water” in Nepali, and you can relax in the natural hot springs to soothe your muscles after a long day of trekking.

Day 6: Tatopani to Thuman (2,400m/7,874 ft) via Brimdang and Nagthali: 6 hours You will climb uphill through a dense forest to reach Brimdang, a small village with beautiful views of the Langtang range. From Brimdang, you will trek to Nagthali, a viewpoint with stunning panoramic views of the Himalayas. You will then descend to Thuman, a traditional village with a rich cultural heritage.

Day 7: Thuman to Briddim (2,345m/7,693 ft): 6 hours You will trek through beautiful forests and cross a suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River to reach Briddim, a traditional village with houses made of stone and wood.

Day 8: Briddim to Lama Hotel (2470m): 6 hours You will descend downhill to reach the Lama Hotel. You will pass through beautiful forests and enjoy the sound of the Langtang River as you trek.

Day 9: Lama Hotel to Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft): 6-7 hours You will trek through dense forests of oak, maple, and rhododendron to reach Langtang village, a beautiful village with stunning views of the Langtang range.

Day 10: Langtang village to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 4 hours You will trek through beautiful landscapes and climb uphill to reach Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist monastery with stunning views of the Langtang range.

Day 11: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 4-5 hours After spending a night in Kyanjin Gompa, we trek back to Lama Hotel. The trail descends downhill and we follow the Langtang Khola river. We can enjoy the views of the beautiful forests, waterfalls and snow-capped mountains on the way. Overnight stay in Lama Hotel.

Day 12: Trek ends: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi: 5 hours We trek back to Syabrubesi, which is the ending point of our trek. This is the last day of our trek and we can enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains for the last time. We can also explore the village and interact with the locals. Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.

Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu We take a drive from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu, which takes around 8-9 hours. We can enjoy the scenic drive and stop by for lunch and tea breaks on the way. Once we reach Kathmandu, we can rest and refresh ourselves. In the evening, we can enjoy a farewell dinner with our trekking team and share our experiences. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 14: Departure day We say goodbye to our trekking team and depart for our respective homes or next travel destination. The trek concludes on this day.
